Robert A.J. Gagnon is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and Associate Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is best known for his study, The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics (2001) and his frequent writing and speaking in defence of traditional Christian teaching on homosexuality.
